Terms and Conditions
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms explain how Feel Alive events, the website and the Rewards programme work, and what we expect from each other. Please read them before you register.
1. Who we are
Feel Alive is a community in Bengaluru that hosts sport events (currently badminton, with other sports added over time) and a rewards programme for people who join us. In these terms, "Feel Alive", "we" and "us" mean the people who run the Feel Alive community and this website, feelalive.in.
By using the website, registering for an event, joining our WhatsApp community or creating a Rewards account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. Who can take part
Our events and Rewards programme are for people aged 18 and over. By registering you confirm that you are at least 18.
You confirm that the details you give us are true, and that you are fit and healthy enough to play the sport you sign up for.
3. Events and registration
Each event page shows the sport, date, time, venue, price and number of spots. Venues are run by third parties. Details can change, for example if a court is unavailable, and we will update the event page and tell registered players where we can.
Registration for an event closes when it is full, or 6 hours before the start time, whichever comes first. We may close or reopen registration at our discretion.
Your spot is only held once your registration is submitted and, for paid events, your payment has been received and checked by us. We may decline or remove a registration, for example if payment cannot be confirmed or a place was given in error.
4. Group registrations
You can register up to 4 people in one submission. If you register others, you confirm that you have their permission to share their details with us, that they have read and accepted these terms and the Privacy Policy, and that they have accepted the safety waiver in section 8. You are responsible for the payment for everyone in your group.
5. Payments
Event fees are shown in Indian rupees on the event page. Payment is made by UPI to the QR code shown on the registration form, and you upload a screenshot of the payment as proof. We do not collect or store your card or bank details.
Fees cover the venue booking and running costs of the event. Food and drink after the game is paid for by you at the cafe or venue, unless we say otherwise.
6. Waitlist
If an event is full you can join its waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not reserve a place in that event. It lets us contact you with priority before spots open for the next event.
7. Cancellations and refunds
If you cannot attend, contact us as early as you can on WhatsApp or at the email in section 14. Refunds are handled case by case, on request. If we cancel an event, or cannot offer you a place after you have paid, you will be offered a full refund or a place in a later event. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the start, we will normally refund you in full. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded unless we decide otherwise.
Approved refunds are paid back by UPI to the account you tell us. This is done by hand, so it can take a few days.
8. Safety and assumption of risk
Sport carries a risk of injury. When you register you accept the two waiver statements on the form: that you are fit and safe to play, and that Feel Alive is not liable for injuries during the event.
You take part at your own risk. You are responsible for your own equipment, belongings and health, and for following the venue's rules and any instructions from the host. Please stop playing and tell a host if you feel unwell or hurt.
9. How we expect you to behave
Our events are meant to be welcoming. You agree to:
- treat other players, hosts and venue staff with respect
- not harass, discriminate against, threaten or endanger anyone
- not play under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- not damage the venue or its equipment
- not register under a false identity, register in bulk, or try to bypass limits on the website
We may ask anyone to leave an event, or stop them registering for future events, if they break these rules. A refund is not owed in that case.
10. Rewards, points and the steps leaderboard
Signed-in members can earn XP and Community Points (CP) and use features such as the badminton free-session tracker and the steps leaderboard. These are a thank-you for taking part. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not a promise of any particular benefit.
We may change how points, free sessions and rewards work, or end them, at any time. We may correct or remove points that were earned by mistake, by misuse, or from data that looks wrong, including steps that look implausible or entered by hand. Where a free session or other perk applies, its rules are the ones shown in the Rewards section at the time.
Connecting Google Health to the steps leaderboard is optional. You can disconnect at any time from your profile, which also deletes your step data from our systems.
11. Your account
You sign in to Rewards with Google or an emailed link. You are responsible for your email account and for anything done through your Rewards account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
We may suspend or close an account that is misused or breaks these terms.
12. Using the website
Please use the website only for its intended purpose. Do not try to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to it, or submit false or harmful content. The Feel Alive name, logo, text and images belong to us or are used with permission, and you may not copy them for commercial use without asking.
13. Our responsibility
We run Feel Alive in good faith but offer the website and events "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage connected to an event or to your use of the website, other than where the law says we cannot exclude it, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the event concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited.
We are not responsible for the acts of venues, other players, payment apps or other third parties.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, refunds or a registration: email keerthan@ascnd.build. For questions about your personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the website or register for an event after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any right you have to bring a claim in your local consumer forum.
